Offering an enjoyable game of golf on a challenging course
Alboran Golf Course was designed by Ramon Espinosa, one of the most prestigious golf architects, and was constructed by Garden & Golf who now run the course. The Club has a 6,278 meter long, 18-hole par-72 Championship course, an extensive practice range and different training areas.
The designer successfully created an important balance between the holes, as regards to both the length and the orientation and location of the various elements that make up the course (bunkers, streams, lakes etc), offering an enjoyable game of golf on a challenging course where each and every one of the holes will put you to the test.
There are 66 bunkers strategically placed around the course, which means that the golfer will have to keep their wits about them at all times. The course recently hosted the 2005 Almeria Mediterranean Games and saw the Spanish team win the day and collect all the medals.
