To all of our amazing customers we will be posting a monthly update with what you can and cannot do here in Spain relating to golf:
With the announcement dated 24/01/2021 regarding the closure of ‘sports facilities’ in the Valencia region we can confirm this includes golf courses. We have been in contact with the Spanish Golf Federation (RFEG) asking them to exclude our amazing sport from under the same umbrella as indoor gyms, tennis, basketball etc. These are all either contact sports / indoor or you at some point will be touching the same equipment unlike golf. We can be one of the leading sports in making outdoor activity safe. We all joke that we social distance out on the course (especially the big hitters) however being eager golfers we really do know how easy this can be. Four hours of being in the open air and maintaining a two-metre distance from your fellow golfers really is simple. Once we have some updates, we will be sure to post both online on our website or for the on liners our facebook page Galaxy Green Fees.
For the time being ALL courses in the Murcia region remain open however with the external borders of Murcia being closed and a lot of internal restrictions the general understanding is that you can only play the courses in your town. For example, if you live on Roda golf you can play Roda only as this is the only golf course in San Javier. If you live on La Torre you are lucky, you have the choice of La Torre or Mar Menor as they are all under Torre Pacheco.
